Mellow Pacific Beach captures the distinctive spirit of its location, with linen textures, abundant light, and simple materials recalling the quintessential Pacific Beach Crystal Pier. The interior captures the sun’s rays and reflects against sourced pier wood pillars and walled mirrors.

Pendant lamps soften subtle artificial light downward, similar to San Diego sunset. Sanded Spanish tile specifically sourced for our welcome desk and custom bench along one wall, its weathered white tones complementing concrete walls and flooring. The seas wave-like forms with our flooring has been buffed to a polish, with dips left intentionally in place.

HILLCREST

Located on the upstairs floor of famed Hillcrest Hub, our Mellow signature location was created by our in-house Design department—and, inspired by the city’s many contradictions, it reflects a contrast between light and shadow, history and modernity, softness and strength. Black anointed walls veil light, this space acts as a cradle and comfort for San Diego’s Hillcrest.

COLLEGE AREA

As we travel farther East in San Diego, the heritage of our College Area massage studio delivers an environment unlike any other. Natural elements once again dominate with concrete and earthy wood tones. Home to the infamous Majorette neon sign on the corner of El Cajon and College, this studio will leave you feeling like you’re home, the moment you step inside.

LA JOLLA

Our massage studio in La Jolla was developed using the natural materials that surround it. The wood columns that adorn the lobby are from retired piers, and Spanish tile akin with San Diego’s heritage. Concrete elements fuse the entire studio before you enter into your treatment room. A room with a dark relaxing ambience, reminiscent of nights on the beach gazing up at the stars.
